My new swing
My Grandma and Grandpa Setters sent me this great new swing! The sun came out Saturday and I tried it for the first time. I love it!! Mommy and daddy were working in the yard and I hung out in my swing, it is quite comfy, much better than those park swings. Hopefully all my friends will come over and swing too.
I heard that my grandpa spent a long time cleaning this swing set when I was in mommy's tummy, now I know why, this thing is FUN!
Check out my new shoes, I love them.....something new to chew on! Don't you just love my chunky legs...I got to show them off today in my shorts.
Thank you!!
Golf Lessons

Last week I had a "date" with a couple of my girlfriends to hit golf balls at the range before we begin taking official lessons.
Somehow our girls evening turned into a family outing......
The husbands and babies were at the other side of the range hitting balls themselves.
We stayed focused on our bucket of balls and let the men figure out how to take care of the babies and practice their swing. Seems they figured it out!
I love this picture.....thanks Jamie for capturing the moment.

35 weeks
Lucy woke up from a nap and we did our weekly photo shoot. It was a bit challenging getting some great smiles today. I think she was ready for lunch instead......I tried to distract/maybe tease her with some decorative grapes. After lunch and now dressed, out of standard weekly photo shoot attire, (a diaper), we got a smile. Oh well, can't win them all.
Jogging Stroller Advertisement??
No..........just Lucy and her friends Greyson, (asleep) and Tilden, (awake), at the park during a balmy day in Seattle. Nicole, Jamie, and I had a nice walk in the neighborhood while the babes fell fast asleep, (except for Tilden), he had to keep an ear on what we were chatting about so he could fill in his friends later.
Notice Lucy's favorite toy in the stroller.......my wallet......already borrowing my accessories.

Lucy goes to the beach........(so do Walt and Adrienne).
Hi everyone, it's me, Lucy. Just came home from a fun trip to San Diego.
I'll show you some of the highlights. Sorry it has taken me a while, I had to sneak on the computer when mommy wasn't looking.......

Swimming in the pool with mommy. We had to show daddy my water tricks from swim class. Not sure why I don't have my swim suit on.......instead mommy rubbed all this white stuff all over my body, guess I'm going topless?

I think mommy was tired of holding me in the water, now I am cruising around in this floaty thing. I feel like a pro, I can float all by myself now--think we can skip lessons?

Drying off with daddy, think they used enough towels??

Wow, swimming was rough, can someone get me a Corona?
I think I'll rest right here, and please stop rubbing that white stuff all over me!

My first walk on the beach, this stuff feels weird on my toes, and the water comes in and out. Wonder why we are not swimming in that huge pool.......maybe next time. Mommy says the water is really cold, darn!

My Great Aunt Mary Ellen drove all the way from LA to meet me, I am so excited! And look, she knows Patty Cake too--she's in! Nice to meet you Mary Ellen, can't wait to see you in June!

Here we are on mommy's first Mother's Day. Everyone was eating a lot of food, think they called it brunch. When is Baby's Day? I work hard too.

After brunch we drove to a place where they make wine. So that's the stuff I see people drinking out of a bottle........hmm, never knew. Mommy and daddy enjoyed wine and cheese on the grass, I decided to enjoy the view.

We had to take the cheesy touristy picture at the winery.........wonder why I had to be the boy? I wanted the crazy hair.

Playing in the vineyards, glad those darn tulips aren't around........so scary.

Ahh, vacation is exhausting. I needed a little rest and found the perfect spot.

Hope you enjoyed the photos, now I have to go, mommy is coming and she can't know I took over the blog........she was taking way too long to post these pictures!
Love,
Lucy

Patty Cake
Lucy loves to hear 'Patty Cake' and clap her hands.
In fact, she loves to clap her hands even when she doesn't hear the song.
Today she had a difficult time going down for a nap and everytime I went in to check on her she was sitting up in her crib clapping away. She was having a little clapping party with her stuffed animals.....so funny to watch when she doesn't know we are looking.

Cruising
Lucy and Nathan had the best seats on the boat--they had a ball.
I think she'll become a member of the captain's club too. Hopefully we'll have some visitors this summer to join us on a boat cruise through Seattle!!
Maybe a Thursday get together ladies?? 1:30 from the Kirkland Marina. Tilden you can wear your seersucker suit--perfect!
