Walla Walla Wine Weekend
Like Father, Like Daughter........well, not really, but I like the caption.
Trying to get Tilden, Lucy and Greyson to smile at all the cameras, our little patriotic babes.
Lucy got the party started with a little table dancing.......don't know where she got those moves???
What? I am just having a little fun!
Basel Cellars, good wine, so I hear, and a beautiful winery.

We spent 4th of July weekend with some wonderful friends in beautiful Walla Walla, Washington. We planned the trip months and months ago, long before I knew I was expecting. I was excited to enjoy a little wine tasting.......hmm, didn't work out so well for me, but that's okay, I still had an excellent time bonding with our friends. Walt is still raving about the wine they all enjoyed, everyone was very impressed. The vineyards were gorgeous and the people were very friendly. It is about a four hour drive from our house so I'm sure we will be heading out there again and again. Maybe next time I can partake in the festivities.
Aside from wine tasting we had an amazing time with our friends and their little ones, Lucy's two favorite boyfriends Greyson and Tilden. We swam in the pool in the backyard of our rental house, cooked yummy meals and played some ever favorite left, right, center. I hear there were even some PBR drinking games that took place late in the evening......I was sound asleep.......next time my friends!
I picked a few of my favorite pics from the weekend to share. Jamie, (Tilden's mom) took about 1000 pictures with her fancy dancy camera so I will post more once I receive the plethora of photos.
Cheers!
Happy Anniversary to my Wonderful Husband!

Walt, I love you always and thank you for being my perfect husband. Happy 2nd Anniversary, and to many, many more!
Your loving wife,
Adrienne

Our visit home
Okay, so being pregnant the second time with Lucy running, (well crawling) around makes updating this blog as I should a little more difficult. I usually have perfect intentions each evening after Lucy is tucked in bed, but then, I too am usually tucked in bed minutes after......whew, when is the first trimester over???
Lucy met baby Ella for the first time. Amanda and I have been friends since the first grade, the girls have a head start on us. Lucy was very interested in Ella, she kept touching her head, I think it was her way of saying hi. We spent the evening at a beautiful winery in Kentucky, http://www.elkcreekvineyards.com/
Then off to Chillicothe for the wedding. Walt's parents hosted a lovely evening at their farm for the rehearsal dinner. Bluegrass music filled the air as everyone gather around the pond and a crackling bonfire as the sun set. Lucy experienced her first bonfire, she kept pointing to it as she loves pointing to the light......and yes, that was a very BIG light!
Lucy enjoyed clapping with the guests! Congratulations Kate and Mike!!
Wow, will I get to have a wedding like this someday??? Daddy start saving!
Family photo at the brunch the day after the wedding.
Lucy enjoyed a sunny day with the Overmann family at Coney Island Pool. We had a great time with all my cousins and Lucy's second cousins. Lucy is learning to walk with Abby, she was a great little helper all day.
Carlee sharing some puffs with Lucy. They were so cute playing together and loved swimming in the giant pool.
Anyway........I finally have some pictures to share from our wonderful visit to Chillicothe, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky. We were in town for Kate's wedding, which was beautiful, and Lucy and I extended the visit an extra week to spend time with friends and family in KY. The weather was warm, just how I like it, and we spent much of our time swimming.....Lucy's favorite hobby, and catching up with everyone. Enjoy the photos!
Swimming with her new friends James and Shelby, little ones of my friends from high school Krista and Julie.
Lucy met her second cousins Sterling and Hopelyn. Sterling and Lucy played while baby Hopelyn was fast asleep.

Uncle Michael John showing Lucy how to swim. She loves her uncle Michael!
39 and 40 weeks
We took weeks 39 and 40 while visiting our parents in the Midwest. Lucy learned to use the walker at my parent's house, (which prompted me to buy one when we came back to Seattle), and she LOVED the singing, dancing dog in the pictures below. The darn thing wouldn't fit in my suitcase, so hopefully my parents can bring it with them on the visit in July. It is hysterical to watch Lucy dance with the dog while he sings "You know you make me want to shout."

Don't give up on me.......
I know I haven't posted in about 2 weeks! Lucy, Walt and I had a nice visit to Chillicothe/Cincinnati/Kentucky. We were having so much fun that I didn't have much time to sit down and blog. Lucy and I returned last night and I know I have a lot of catching up to do......so bear with me and please continue to check our blog.
Thanks!!
