Weekend Pancakes with Daddy

Walt and the kids have a fun weekend tradition of making pancakes. On weekend mornings when they figure out Daddy is home, they start cheering for pancakes! They have fun adding food coloring to make the perfect red, green, blue, or sometimes all three colors, pancake.

Pouring. Everything has to be done together or we risk a pancake meltdown.

How many hands does it take to crack an egg?

Next, water. Making progress.

And the favorite part, mixing!

Adding the color! Green it is.

Time to enjoy.

The reverse fork move.

Pancake weekend a success!!  Now, who will clean up?

Girls' Shopping Day

This summer Miss Lucy is going to be a flower girl! She is thrilled and continues to ask who she is marrying.
The bride-to-be, Joanna, Lucy, and Mommy shared a wonderful day shopping for the perfect dress.....shoes, and sunglasses.

I want this one!

A little mirror twirling with the new shoes.

After a fun day of shopping we all enjoyed a delicious cupcake. Lucy was such a trooper. She lasted about 4 hours without a complaint.

I LOVE girls' day out!
Sporting the new purples shades. She wears them all the time, even in the house while eating breakfast.

The girl who no longer naps, shopped til she dropped!

Such a fun day! Joanna, thank you!

A new family member would like to say, "Hello"

Our little sweetie waving hi! We are all very excited to officially announce that we are expecting a  little Rooney mid-late September. I had my second ultrasound yesterday, and the baby looks fantastic.

Looking very comfy and content in his/her home for the next 6 months.
Love,
Walt, Adrienne, Lucy, Quinn and Baby3

Little guys

For those of you who have seen these two recently, you'll love the contrast.  Lots of mac and cheese and love to be so big.

Museum of Flight

Seattle is home to a really fantastic Museum of Flight. We are members, and it serves as a perfect rainy day activity. There are plenty of exhibits, open space to run around and planes to "fly."  A few photos (from my phone) of a recent visit.
Ready for takeoff! Q the helicopter pilot.
Daddy decided trying the hurricane simulator might be fun...
The kids decided to join in. Quinn was out in all of about 2 seconds, while Lucy weathered the storm. Crazy!

She is too funny!

Lucy was playing in my bed one morning and apparently borrowed my glasses and my iphone for a few self portraits. I got a good laugh from her creativity.

Snow Day

Means it is time to play outside! Making snow angels.....
Making a rainbow snow mountain with food coloring.........
Eating a bit, with my sister's pink gloves :)
And using the sand/beach toys to make snow castles!  What fun!!
