Mt. Rainier here I come

I hear my daddy is quite the climber. He even summited Mt. Rainier while I was in mommy's tummy!! I'm sure mommy was not worried at all........yeah right!

Anyway, I have started training on our stairs, I love it!! I make mommy and daddy chase me up the stairs everyday, haha. I think I make them a little nervous, but I've got it under control. Maybe someday daddy and I can climb together.....we would really give mommy a scare!

Swimming!

Last weekend we joined our friends at the Belleve Club for a swim lesson. This time the dads could take the kids in which was really fun. Here is a photo of Lucy and Walt along with Lucy's BFF Tilden and his dad Billy. We had so much fun with the kids in the pool.

I love the picture below of Lucy bundled up in her ducky towel after class. She LOVES being in the water. She can't wait to show Grandma and Grandpa how she can go under next week during our visit!

38 weeks, a little late I know.

I love the look on her face in the above photo. We play this new game where we ask her "where is the light," and she will point up to the ceiling. Walt asked her where the light was while he was taking her picture, (notice her cute little finger pointing up). I can just imagine her thinking..."why do you guys always ask me where the light is, I mean, I show you like 10 times a day, can't you figure it out?!?!!!"

37 weeks

Time is really flying.....whew, 37 weeks. Next week we go to the pediatrician for Lucy's 9 month check-up. She is so much fun and ALL OVER THE PLACE!

This morning we decided to take her weekly picture soon after she woke up and had something to eat, her morning latte always makes her happy. We put her on the floor and she was off. She was sprint crawling all over our bedroom touching and climbing on everything possible. We decided to just snap whatever we could get. It really is a two man job.

If only I had someone to capture a shot of Walt and me trying to distract Lucy each week for this photo. You would see two crazy parents jumping up and down, singing, clapping, making silly faces........all trying to get a smile, a look in our direction, something, and of course with the weekly label close by. Are we going to make it to 52 weeks???

My new swing

My Grandma and Grandpa Setters sent me this great new swing! The sun came out Saturday and I tried it for the first time. I love it!! Mommy and daddy were working in the yard and I hung out in my swing, it is quite comfy, much better than those park swings. Hopefully all my friends will come over and swing too.
I heard that my grandpa spent a long time cleaning this swing set when I was in mommy's tummy, now I know why, this thing is FUN!

Check out my new shoes, I love them.....something new to chew on! Don't you just love my chunky legs...I got to show them off today in my shorts.

Golf Lessons

Last week I had a "date" with a couple of my girlfriends to hit golf balls at the range before we begin taking official lessons.

Somehow our girls evening turned into a family outing......

The husbands and babies were at the other side of the range hitting balls themselves.

We stayed focused on our bucket of balls and let the men figure out how to take care of the babies and practice their swing. Seems they figured it out!
