Bright Eyes
It is so cold out here, just look at what Lucy and I had to go through.
This is me, and this is Lucy below. I don't know why she didn't open her eyes.
This is when Lucy was my age, she is so big now, and so nice to me.
What a perfect site, looking up at Mommy.Nice and warm, but I hear a bath is coming soon.

Quinn Michael
Finally a name. Quinn means 'counsel' and 'of intelligence' and is gaelic and irish. Mommy and daddy say I'm Irish but I'm German too. Michael comes from my Grandpa Mike and uncle Mike. I am so happy I am named after two really great men.

I made it! Finally my birthday.
Push push push, I know what that word means, it means head squeeze. Then the bright lights and everyone was smiling. So what the heck, I decided to breathe. I think that was my birthday yesterday. And who is Lucy? Well my name is...I'm not sure, mommy calls me something different all the time. I vote for Quinn. Yep, 10:57 pm in Seattle on Jan 22nd, 2009, tipping the scale at 8lbs, 5oz.
My first kiss from my sister Lucy. She is so sweet. She used to kiss me when I was in my mommy's tummy.
Here is my family, they are so wonderful. Thanks for coming out Grandpa Mike and Grandma Jitty. When can I eat?

Getting ready for baby!!!
We should welcome the fourth member of our family by Friday the 23rd. I begin the induction process on Wednesday, again on Thursday, and if nothing has happened I have a scheduled induction Friday morning. Please pray everything goes smoothly and we welcome a healthy baby (gender still unknown) into the Rooney family. I am thrilled and so ready to meet the little bundle. Hard to imagine this was the last weekend we spent as a family with one child.
I plan to update the blog as things progress so be sure to check back later in the week.
I love this picture of Lucy kissing the baby. If you ask her where the baby is she'll touch my belly and lift up my shirt to give the baby a kiss. She really has no clue what is about to happen to her world, but it is so cute to see the love she is already giving her brother or sister.
She is very intrigued by my belly and loves to push my belly button in.
