Anyone that knows me well is aware of my obsession with taco salad. It really is my favorite appetizer. It has been a staple at all parties that I've attended or hosted. Taco salad took the place of birthday cake for me as a child. My mom would make one and stick candles in it and I was happy as can be. Cake and ice cream did not even come close in my mind. Anyway, I made one for a recent party we attended and was enjoying the leftovers the next morning.....yes, for breakfast.....remember I'm pregnant. I steeped away to answer the phone and when I came back in the room, Lucy was dining away on taco salad and loving it! She's never had anything like this in her diet, but I made an exception and let her enjoy. Like mother like daughter.....way to make mommy proud!
Lucy and her friend Molly had a fun playdate this month. They have known each other since they were weeks old, but are finally into 'playing' together. It is really fun to see how they interact and communicate on their own levels.
