All her teeth are here!

Just kidding! She really only has two bottom teeth, as of today, but I believe her top teeth are working their way out based on the past two nights of random screems while she was sleeping.

We went to a great party last weekend, the theme was 'White Trash Olympics' and Lucy received this paci and a hilarious tshirt that read, "Daddy drinks and Mommy shakes me." Total white trash, we even dined on Fritos and Nacho cheese and had an egg toss and three leg race.

50 weeks and FIRST STEPS!!!

She's finally into reading books, after many months of encouragement! Yes!

I still can't believe in less than two weeks Lucy will be 1! These photos are from her 50 week photo shoot. I think I will actually miss taking the weekly shots.......well, maybe. Guess in a matter of months we will be starting all over (with weekly pictures) for the second baby, do you think we can do it??? I know the second child typically has less photos, but we'll try our best.

We've been anxiously awaiting Lucy to begin walking......but she hasn't seemed that interested and frankly was getting frustrated when we would try to encourage the process. Yesterday, while Walt and I were playing with her in the family room, she stood unassisted and took two, tiny, wobbly steps!!!! We were shocked so we kept trying to get her to try again........and again, and again. The most she did was four steps from Walt to me and then she dove in my lap with a huge grin on her face. We got out the video camera and tried to capture her, but she became too interested in the camera to focus.

Maybe by her official 1st Birthday she'll be tip-toeing around the house--how exciting!!

Driving lessons

Grandpa decided to give Lucy a lesson in driving while we were waiting for the ferry.

Looks like she may be a little reckless. Not sure what the head shaking thing is.......but it sure is funny.

Almost 1 year

I guess I'll put this picture in today, mommy and daddy look at it and make funny noises. I don't know why they want to take my picture so much, especially the first few weeks, it was so COOOLD out here in the air! I think I looked great.

Lucy, where's the light? It's up in the sky daddy, didn't you pay attention in school?
'Where's your tummy'? Daddy, I am concerned about how forgetful you are about these things. It seems like you ask me every fifteen minutes.

I like CANADA

i got some more pictures up. Daddy kept telling me to touch this thing, but I knew it was full of straw. Hello? Hello? Silly skier.

I like this wooden thing, why is mommy laughing so hard? just take the picture mommy.

Just making sure my canonball splash will reach grandma. Very nice.

Mommy can't you see my little yellow feet are hanging to the ground? Mommy says this snow is ridiculous and daddy says 'I like', just like that Borat funnyman. bye bye

Peak Chair, Whistler BC

Hi everybody. Lucy here, and my mommy is busy with her work computer so I took hers and am acting like I am 'playing'. Silly mommy. Well, last week I kept hearing about the upcoming winter olympics in Canada in 2010. So, since I don't have much to do before my first birthday, and since my fantastic grandparents were here, I really wanted to go to the mountains to see Whistler. So I told daddy to pack up the big fat car and off we went. Here is what I said: "waaaaaaaa waaaaaa", it works for everything.
We have some great pictures, so stay tuned! Also, if anyone out there could email me some instructions on how to escape from that stupid car seat let me know. "Lucy want her bottle? Lucy want music?" NO LUCY WANTS YOU TO TAKE ME OUT OF THIS PLASTIC STRAIGHT JACKET! Geesh! And tell mommy and daddy that I don't fit in that "Bjorn for midgets" (see above) anymore. I feel like a damn starfish in a rubberband bikini.

Look below and be sure to check out the video, daddy kept saying "Lucy, Lucy!"
Now why would I want to look into that silly little deck of cards he kept holding when I could just about see Calgary?

Hopefully there is a lot more coming as soon as Mommy can download all of the pictures and get the snow out of my hair. OHhhh, here comes Mommy!!......
