Even though all of the gifts were not under the tree there were still plenty to open from other people, Grandmas, friends, etc. Lucy is still enjoying her new toys and I must say I am too. I was getting a little bored with the old ones. It is really nice to have new entertainment and stories to read.

Christmas Morning
Our Christmas turned out to be a little different than I expected. Most of the gifts I ordered on line for Lucy did not arrive due to 'adverse weather conditions' (comment on the tracking site). The image I had of Lucy coming downstairs to see all of the new toys did not happen. Oh well, at least she is not old enough to think Santa forgot her favorite toys. I am still waiting for those darn packages and we will have another Christmas morning........with more pictures.

Before she broke the drum by pounding just a little too hard.
Playing with a new favorite toy. She loves the snow globe, yet has not quite figured out how to turn it on, so she says 'uh oh' when the music stops and will hand it to me to restart.
We played in the snow a little more. Look how much.....this is a chair in our backyard. I think we topped out at about 2 feet. It was really beautiful, but I'm glad it is melting!
Walt shoveling the driveway again so we can leave the house.
We were very fortunate to spend Christmas evening at the Ho's house. We had an amazing meal and wonderful time with great friends. It was different being away from family this year, but we are so blessed to have such great friends who included us in their family gathering--THANK YOU! Lucy and Tilden had a ball playing with toys and running around the house. They were party animals staying up until 11pm with the adults. They don't miss a beat and make our social lives so easy.
